Kaya stayed in the top three with a comprehensive 3-1 victory over Air Force Phoenix Saturday in the United Football League at the University of Makati. 

Eric Dagroh, Lexton Moy and seldom-used Nicolas Bolzico were on target as Kaya won their second straight match after that horrendous 1-5 defeat to Global just before the Holy Week break. 

Chieffy Caligdong put the Airmen on top pouncing on a mistake from Lexton Moy in the 10th minute. But the Air Force talisman was substituted at halftime because of a hamstring problem. 

Dagroh fired the opener after a mad scramble following a corner kick in the 19th minute, before Moy atoned for his earlier gaffe with an exquisite 25-yard free kick that left Tats Mercado with no chance. 

The two teams lacked incisiveness on the final third but it was Kaya that was  able to make the most out of its chances. Bolzico sealed maximum points with a header off a corner kick in the third minute of stoppage time. 

But Dagroh was sent off in the 84th minute in the aftermath of an altercation near the halfline. 

Still, the result augurs well for Kaya's title ambitions as it kept them in step with Global and Loyola Meralco. Kaya now has 24 points on eight wins and two losses. 

Air Force remained fifth, but saw its hopes of retaining the title slipping away with a fourth defeat of the season.
